This section exists to provide the information and resources members and their families need to promote and maintain readiness within the Indiana Air National Guard.  Family readiness has a direct impact on morale and retention of our members, and on the unit's overall mission readiness.  During times of crisis, effective family readiness programs pay significant dividends in terms of family and unit member morale.  Indiana Air National Guard members will perform their best if their families are well prepared for deployments.

The purpose of the Racer Family Support Group Key Volunteer Team is to work with the military unit leadership to bridge the relationship between the unit and their families.  We promote military life for service members and their families of the 181st Intelligence Wing through the desire to empower, educate, and support our service members and families.
A resilient quality of life for all service members and their families through contact, education, advocating and networking with our community.
1.  Provide training and education to family and unit members regarding the Family Programs and resources available.
2. Assure that every service member and their family/friends are prepared for times of deployment and separation and reintegration.
3.  Maintain a support network for service members and their families/friends.
Our program promotes mission readiness and retention, by ensuring service members and families have appropriate information and resources to meet their needs.  The unit recruits the service member and we retain the family.
The Racer Family Support Group meets monthly in the MSG/LRF Conference Room, Building 3, 970 Petercheff St., Hulman Field ANGB, Terre Haute, IN.  Please see our calendar for the date and time.
